School children across Greater Manchester inspired by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights have created a collection of poetry based on each of the Articles within it.
Keisha Thompson: ‘How to Make an Article 25’
Inspired by Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Keisha Thompson created this poem for inclusion in A Poetic Declaration, commissioned for the Ripples of Hope Festival at HOME in Manchester, in September.
Keisha will be one of the judges selecting 30 poems from school children across Greater Manchester to create a new Poetic Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which will be unveiled online on 10 December – Human Rights Day.
